Aguapé Lodge
Aguape is a charming lodge located in Carlos Pellegrini, the gateway to the Ibera Wetlands. Situated on the shores of the Iberá Lagoon, in the heart of the Iberá Natural Reserve—Argentina’s largest protected area—Aguapé has been a pioneering lodge in the region since its creation in 1996 by a family with deep-rooted traditions.
In this remarkable natural environment, you’ll have the chance to interact with over 60 species of mammals and more than 350 bird species. Enjoy panoramic views where nature is the sole protagonist, offering a front-row seat to one of the most pristine and biodiverse landscapes in Argentina.
Rooms
The Aguape Lodge has two houses, with a very nice and warm atmosphere.Casa Chica: 4 en-suite rooms (3 Twin + 1 Queen Mat). Its location closest to the lagoon offers us a view of the estuaries, lagoon and palm groves. They have an intimate living room with a fireplace, ideal for reading and relaxing.
Casa Grande: 6 large en-suite rooms of 24 m2, (King Mat). All with an excellent view of the estuaries and the Iberá lagoon. +2 Standard rooms with connecting suites. Both open to the same internal living room (1 Twin + 1 Mat King). Yaguarí (Queen Mat) Tajibo (Double Twin or triple).
Gastronomy
At Aguapé Lodge, the summer months offer a delightful dining experience featuring exceptional regional gourmet cuisine, complemented by a wide variety of homemade delicacies. Meals are served in our restaurant garden, located by the riverbank, allowing you to savor your food while immersed in the natural surroundings.
During the winter, the tables are arranged around a large fireplace with views of the lagoon, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. An Open Bar overlooking the lagoon also offers a curated wine menu, highlighting the best Argentine wines.
All meals at Aguapé Lodge are gourmet and designed by an exclusive chef, using organic ingredients grown in our own garden. We cater to a variety of dietary needs and preferences, including options for celiacs, vegetarians, and diabetics.
