Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to El Chaltén
Upon arrival in El Calafate, you will be transferred to El Chaltén (approx. 3-hour drive) through scenic Patagonian landscapes. After check-in at Chalten Eco Domes, you can explore the town or take a short acclimatization walk to Mirador de los Condores, offering panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. In the evening, there will be a briefing session about the upcoming trekking adventures, ensuring you are well-prepared for the days ahead.
Day 2: Trekking to Laguna de los Tres - Fitz Roy
One of the most famous hikes in Patagonia, this full-day trek (approximately 10 hours) covers 20 km (12.4 miles) round trip, leading you to the stunning Laguna de los Tres with unparalleled views of the Fitz Roy massif. The trail features a moderate-to-difficult ascent, with the final kilometer being the steepest. You will hike through lush lenga forests, cross rivers, and witness incredible scenery along the way. Departure at 8:00 AM, return by 6:00 PM. In the evening, enjoy a well-deserved rest at the eco domes, with an optional visit to a local restaurant.
Day 3: Trekking to Laguna Torre
Today’s adventure takes you on an 18 km (11 miles) trek, lasting around 7-8 hours. The trail to Laguna Torre is considered moderate, with gentle inclines and rewarding views of Cerro Torre and its surrounding glaciers. Along the way, you will pass by glacial moraines and rivers, making for an incredibly scenic journey. At Laguna Torre, you can take in the views of floating icebergs and, if conditions allow, observe climbers attempting to summit the peak. Departure at 9:00 AM, return by 5:00 PM. Free evening to relax or explore El Chaltén’s charming town center.
Day 4: Cagliero Glacier Ice Trek
Experience the thrill of ice trekking on Glaciar Cagliero, an off-the-beaten-path adventure. The excursion includes a 6 km (3.7 miles) hike through the forest, followed by a via ferrata section leading to the glacier. Ice trekking lasts approximately 2-3 hours, where you will use crampons and explore the mesmerizing ice formations. Moderate-to-difficult level. Departure at 7:30 AM, return by 5:30 PM. End the day with a warm meal at the eco domes, sharing stories of your adventure.

Day 5: Transfer to El Calafate
Take the transfer from El Chalten to El Calafate (3-hour drive) and settle into your comfortable accommodation at Pristine Camps, where nature and luxury meet in a spectacular Patagonian setting. Free afternoon to explore the town, visit the Glaciarium Museum, or enjoy local cuisine at a traditional Patagonian grill.
Day 6: Perito Moreno Glacier Minitrekking
Walk atop the legendary Perito Moreno Glacier, a breathtaking experience. The excursion begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel, followed by a scenic 1.5-hour drive to Los Glaciares National Park. Upon arrival, you will pay the entrance fee to the park before boarding a boat for a 20-minute ride across the Rico Arm of Lago Argentino. Once at the glacier’s base, professional guides will provide crampons and a safety briefing before leading you on a guided 1.5-hour trek across the ice. Marvel at the deep crevasses, striking blue ice formations, and fascinating glacial features along the way. After the trek, enjoy a short break with hot beverages before returning by boat. Before heading back to El Calafate, you will visit the famous panoramic walkways of Perito Moreno Glacier, where you can admire its towering walls and witness ice calving into the lake.
Day 7: Todo Glaciares Navigation
Board a boat for a full-day navigation tour, sailing past imposing icebergs and majestic glaciers, including Upsala and Spegazzini. The excursion begins with a hotel pick-up in the morning, followed by a drive to Punta Bandera, where you will board a modern catamaran. As you cruise along Lago Argentino, enjoy panoramic views of the vast ice fields and striking landscapes.
The first major stop is near Upsala Glacier, one of the largest in the region, where you will see massive icebergs drifting in the lake. Continuing the journey, you will reach Spegazzini Glacier, known for its towering ice walls, which rise over 130 meters (427 feet).
During the tour, you will disembark at the Spegazzini Refuge, a cozy and modern lodge offering spectacular views of the glacier. Here, you can enjoy a warm meal or coffee while taking in the breathtaking scenery. After spending time at the refuge, you will return by boat to Punta Bandera, followed by a transfer back to your hotel in El Calafate. Departure at 7:30 AM, return by 6:00 PM. Free evening to relax at Pristine Camps.

Day 9: Trekking to Base Torres del Paine
One of the most challenging yet rewarding treks in Patagonia, this full-day hike (20 km / 12.4 miles) takes 8-10 hours, round trip. The trail includes steep ascents, rocky terrain, and stunning valleys. After a strenuous climb, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the iconic granite spires. Departure at 7:30 AM, return by 6:00 PM. Evening relaxation at the Eco Camp.
Day 10: Pehoé Lake Navigation & Trekking in the French Valley
Cruise across the mesmerizing Pehoé Lake before hiking into the stunning French Valley. The trek is approximately 20 km (12.4 miles) round trip, lasting 8-9 hours, with moderate-to-difficult terrain. Along the way, take in views of hanging glaciers and jagged peaks. Departure at 8:00 AM, return by 6:00 PM. Free time to unwind at the camp.
Day 11: Trekking to Playita Grey & Return to El Calafate
Conclude your adventure with a 12 km (7.5 miles) trek to Playita Grey, where you’ll admire the striking Grey Glacier. Afterward, transfer back to El Calafate (approx. 5-hour drive) for a final night at the luxurious Hotel Xelena. Departure at 7:00 AM, return by 6:00 PM. Celebrate the end of your journey with a special farewell dinner.
